Participants: Youth and young adults ages 16-24
Duration: 10 weeks
LUV Institute staff and workforce coaches prepare participants to be college and career ready. Students engage in resume building, elevator pitches, soft skill workshops, workforce development activities, and internships that provide critical hands-on training and professional experience. Students also receive guidance in determining the best educational path based on their interests.
Participants leave with a Certificate of Completion, a Career Action Plan, work experience, and fundamental skills that aid them in reaching pivotal milestones including high school graduation, postsecondary enrollment and completion, and stable full-time employment with livable wages. To get them started on their journey, students are compensated with $1250 and a free tablet.
